date: 23 May 2023; location: on Swedish island 'Ă–land' at the northwest coast near Byxelkrok; one fly on the sead head of Centaurea scabiosa; probably a male of Urophora cuspidata? In this case, despite it is a male, the morphology AND the host plant allow to ID it positively. Urophora cuspidata. Val |
