a female Eumea. The two species are very similar. General colouration and date suggests Eu. mitis.

Thanks, Theo. Eumea mitis seems to be really rare in the UK (or very poorly recorded).

In the area of Reading, UK in the past 10 years I have caught 41 Eumea linearicornis but only 2 Eumea mitis.

I firgot about the shape of facial ridge. It is, indeed, linearicornis.
Unusually late for this species, that got me confused.
