Hello, This fly seems to be Hydrophoria lancifer ? Plumose arista, setulae on scutellum and between ac (so no Hylemya), no dark foremarginal bands on abdomen and short epandrium What do you think ? As no-one else seems to be willing to volunteer, I'd say that this very likely is Hydrophoria lancifer. An abundant species during summer. Especially in May to July. In Denmark, anyway
