Today I found this beauty in a small piece of woodland adjacent to the river Linge at Leerdam, Netherlands. It was appr. 5-7 mm long. It must be Sciomyzidae and I think it is of the genus Sepedon. Is it possible to tell which species is it from this photo? Thanks in advance for any help. Jan Zwaaneveld attached the following image: [116.11Kb] http://slamenietd...web-log.nl |
