Hi, Here is another Parydra from Františkovy Lázně (Czechia) that I met on 8th March, 2014. The wing pattern recalls P. littoralis, but I cannot see the silvery patches on the mid tibia, so I wonder if there are any better species suggestions. It may be quadripunctata, but there are other species in Eastern Europe (unfamiliar to me) which might be confused with it. Cranefly should be able to help.

Well, the locality ist very close to the German border, so I would not expect an "exotic" species that is not recorded for Germany.... P. cf. quadripunctata is fine (until Cranefly complains ). Thank you so much! |
