Photograph taken on 25 Septembe, 2023 inside a house in the urban center of Motril

Perched on the tripod that I have on my work table to record videos from old cameras...
It's not clear to me that this is the tiger mosquito, I think it could be a close relative...

The "natural" photograph on a dark background, in which she appears with a swollen belly and brown tones, is a bit misleading.
In the photographs taken of the already collected insect, the pattern of white spots on the thorax that distinguishes the Aedes albopictus from other species of the genus can be perfectly appreciated, as can be seen in the comparative sheet between them, contained in the work of Víctor Manuel Ureña Rísquez
