i foundt this key-warrior in august, very small. I?m sorry wings are not visible, but they have only 2 veins; after many months that "clown-nose" and 4 eyes? had shown it?s hemiptera, but only with 2 wings There?s something similar in chinery, but not the same here you are it, so maybe you won?t spend time with it as i did |

I conclude from the picture and what you describe that you have a nice example of a male scale insect (Coccoidea). They are often mistaken for small midges because of the two wings.
