this conforms to key here fwiw : https://web.archive.org/web/20040307120801/http://home.hccnet.nl/mp.van.veen/KEYS/Eupeodes/eupesleu.html - eye angle 120 degrees - frons swollen with dense black hair on top however, the key does not include all Icelandic species of Eupeodes : there is -punctifer -borealis -nigroventris still to rule out Edited by sbushes on 08-06-2023 21:31 |
