Hello

This little doli (3 mm) was caught yesterday 27.v.2023, Denmark, North Zeeland, coastal forest where it was sitting on some leaves on a bush.
It had much more green/yellow look alive, so now quite darker at the green parts. Also cribbled a bit when drying. Scape and pedicel yellow.
I thought somewhere around Medetera, but got stuck in the key. I can very well be mistaken.

Any suggestions?

Cheers Rasmus

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
