Reykjavik, Iceland - May 2023

I imagined this to be Sciara hemerobiodes due to yellow abdomen...
But according to the Icelandic list I have, here there is only the following Sciaridae :

Bradysia brunnipes
Bradysia cf. nitidicollis
Bradysia confinis
Bradysia degenerans
Bradysia fungicola
Bradysia rufescens
Bradysia vagans

Corynoptera forcipata
Corynoptera fulvicollis
Corynoptera montana

Lycoriella brevipila
Lycoriella conspicua
Lycoriella modesta
Lycoriella venosa

Plastosciara detrita
Plastosciara nobilis

Scaptosciara vivida

Possible to place given limited species here?

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
