Captured at light in East Suffolk, UK on 15th February 2023. I only have Phil Withers as a key so as a female specimen it cannot be keyed to genus. However it resembled a Psychoda but is not one of the species in Withers. So I came up with Feuerborniella obscura by a process of elimination and looking at images on line. It is about 10% smaller than Psychoda sigma. I would be grateful for expert confirmation or correction.

Please add a picture. When it resembles Psychoda Philosepedon is a good candidate. Looks very much like a Psychoda but keeping the wings flat.
Maybe you can open this? https://waarneming.nl/familie/view/10259

Thanks. I may be being stupid but I cannot work out how to add imagesi. I tried several times to work out how.
I need it laid out to me step by step. My specimen was dead so I cannot go on how it holds its wings. All the ascoids are threadlike not Y shaped.

Got there! Do not understand why they didn't attach in the first attempt. The ascoids arise in pairs from a single point but none of them have a stem. Not Y shaped.
