Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Halstenbek near Hamburg, found in a region of tree nursery, at a wall of a road tunnel; nearby a small wet uncultivated area; Outside Photos: kuv, 5th of May 2022.
I think it's a male (85 mm) and a female (7.5 mm) of the same species (?). Please help to get the ID.

Hi kuv, I think the female is probably Aedes cantans:
2 white patches on scutum and dark supraalar bristles.
The male could be Aedes annulipes:
Cinnamon coloured band and no patches on scutum and pale supraalar bristles.
But I'm learning - not an expert!

Greetings, Eric

Thank you very much Eric Smile for your answer (they are always welcome!).
This time I think we should wait for brundlefly and Tony.
Best regards Kuv

The scutum colour on males in the annulipes-complex is unreliable. I think the scutum colour of this one could fit Ae. cantans as well.
