Hello all, At least, I think this one is an Heleomyzidae (?), perhaps Suillia sp (??) Can anyone kindly comment ? I thought that with those wing spots, it might perhaps be recognizabe. Heron , Belgium January 22nd 2008 Approx 6 mm I have only dorsal views, but the fly is in a jar in the fridge, and I'll try to get side views if it helps - the critter is rather skittish, though.
