Torymus sinensis has been introduced in some European countries to control the infestation of the Chestnut Gall Wasp (Dryocosmus kuriphilus), but other parasitoids have been reared from these galls, so I am not sure about the species here. Gall found in a park in Vienna, kept indoors. Wasp hatched in early January ![]() ![]() ![]() Cheers, Lorin Font Color All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated. My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated. |
