Am I right in thinking this is Thaumatomyia notata ? It's an old photo from 2020, South Cumbria, but will iRecord if I can get a positive ID.

The apical bristles are more widely spaced than in Thaumatomyia, and the scutellum does not look very flat, so I would say Chlorops species.
