Hello, I was wondering if it could be possible to go a little further than the familly for this female. Thank you in advance! ![]() Cédric Mondy : France : Saint-Maur-des-Fossés : 94100 : 17/10/2021 Altitude : 41 m - Taille : 2.7 mm Réf. : 315707 ![]() Cédric Mondy : France : Saint-Maur-des-Fossés : 94100 : 17/10/2021 Altitude : 41 m - Taille : 2.7 mm Réf. : 315708 ![]() Cédric Mondy : France : Saint-Maur-des-Fossés : 94100 : 17/10/2021 Altitude : 41 m - Taille : 2.7 mm Réf. : 315709 Edited by CedricMondy on 09-05-2023 18:48 Cédric |

I think that unless the specimen has some particularly notable features, you will have little success identifying female Sciaridae from photos, even just the genus.

Thank you for the clarification Tony! I suspected so but a confirmation is always welcome. Cédric |
