Hello,
In the south of France on October 12, 2022.
On the Ivy.
Length of the body 4 mm.
The picture is very bad but can we find the family?

Thank you very much John,
This single photo will not help to determine a genus in Sciaridae.
I read that the larvae of Sciaridae feed on decomposing wood but is this the case for all genera of this family?

At least two genera include leaf mining species.
