Hello,

I photographed this fly on Arctium sp. near Monte Ocre (AQ), Italy, 1500m a.s.l. on June 18th 2022. I think it is a Tephritidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos?

Thank you in advance,
Emanuele

I'd say Tephritis bardanae (Schrank, 1803), a female.
Best regards,
Carlo
