Hello, I have several Bombylella species from Romania 1 I am certain is Bombylella atra (first image, 12mm), the other 3 are similar but half the size (6mm), so I feel they must be a different species, but I can't find any keys on this genus, just the GBIF.org records. They also have most of the abdominal hairs rubbed off unfortunately, but the remaining hairs show the same white spots as atra. Does anyone have any resources on this genus or idea what this species may be? Or if the atra species has this wide size variance? JCobain attached the following image: [234.07Kb] |
