Hi,

Here is another Asilidae fly from Corse (maybe the same as in the other thread ?) acting as if it was laying eggs, but I couldnt find any (!?) :

I am certain it was ovipositing (or at least trying to). Dysmachus may tell you more about this one.

Thanks Paul, it might look similar to Dysmachus trigonus indeed.
But I don't know if enough can be seen on this photo to get species level ?

No, Paul means a guy called Dysmachus... this is not Dysmachus.
