The attached Exoprosopa was photographed in Yegen, Granada on 25 August 2021. The habitat is dry scrubland.

I identified it as Exoprosopa italica. However I was informed on iNaturalist (https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/92761770) that it was not this species as the R5 is not stalked. This seems to apply to the majority, but not all, of the photos I had assigned to this species including this one (https://www.biodiversidadvirtual.org/insectarium/Exoprosopa-italica-(Rossi-1794)-img1091608.html) confirmed by Piluca Alverez. A few clearly do have stalks.

If it is not E. italica can anyone inform me what it could be? I can find no other species with this wing patterning on the sites I know of.

Thanks
