This fly was photographed on 30 May this year in Yegen, Granada, Spain near a small stream.

I think it is Muscidae, not Anthomyiidae, based on the anal vein. I see bristles on the hind tibia but have been led down the wrong path by these before.

How far is it possible go with an ID please? I only managed the one shot so no other angles if I have missed something ital

I think, Anthomyiidae, because of the red face (never occurs in Muscidae to my knowledgs).

PS I did not deliberately choose any sub forum, so don't know how that happened. Is there any way to change it (it seems to have happened on another thread as well)?
