Hello,
yesterday I found this Pipiza. I think it is a Pipiza noctiluca. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Thanks, Volker

Hi Volker, I'm quite sure: female P. noctiluca is correct.
black haired face
hind femora thickened
fore tars: first segment yellow (others black?)
wing slightly darkened
and the two yellow patches

Greetings, Eric Kloeckner

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
