Hello, Small larvae (a few millimetres) found on the surface of the soil in which sweet potatoes are planted. I suppose they are dipteran larvae? I have put a few in rearing and so far only a few tiny psychodidae have emerged, but I don't think it is their larvae. Cuise-La-Motte (Northen France) - 03-05-2022 Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you and have a nice day. Michel bertrandpami attached the following image: [117.98Kb] Edited by bertrandpami on 18-05-2022 08:55 |

With such reduced headcapsule these are cyclorrhapha larvae. Don't know which family, but definitely a fly |
