Fly near a compost heap. Satzvey, Eifel (West Germany), 30th April 2020. Could it be Hydrophoria linogrisea (Anthomyzidae)?

Hello, I think, Phaonia (tuguriorum?). (And Hydrophoria would not be Anthomyzidae, but Anthomyiidae). Best regards, Jürgen -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Juergen Peters Borgholzhausen, Germany WWW: http://insektenfo... -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= |

Hi Jürgen, your comment made me think – and check the file details of the original images. According to the file information the pictures were actually taken on September 6, 2021, which fits in perfectly with your observations. The date I entered was that listed on the caption of the images, I don’t know how the wrong date got there. Sorry for the confusion! It looks like your justified question mark can now be removed. |
