Hello. This Dolichopodidae was observed on february 19th in the north of Yonne Department (Burgondy, France). According to the key of Igor Grichanov, a female of Syntormon denticulatus should be possible for this specimen of 4 mm. Thanks for your opinion. Hello. S. denticulatus or not denticulatus ? According to "A checklist and keys to... "by Igor Ya. Grichanov p.111 : 1-Postpedicel elongate...=>2 2-Antenna dark =>3. 3-Females; face broad =>16. 16-Face without setae = >17. 17-At least mid and hind coxae dark =>20. 20-Fore coxa dark; frons green or bronze-green =>21. At this point there is a doubt since we have no access to the apical part of the fore coxa, but the frons is brownish. |
