Hello again,

i am not sure about the name i gave to this fly. I found it on Nymphaea leaves on a little lake in northern Germany near Kiel on 14.7.2021.
I would be pleased to get a name for that one.

Yes that fits much better. E.g. Hydromyza livens seems to live on Nymphaeaceae but i don't know about similar species.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
