Hi, unfortunately I have only this picture. I guess the fly with the long pterostigma could be an Eristalis similis. Can that be confirmed or is it not possible to exclude E. pertinax? The mid tarsi are blurred, but look dark. Thank you, Marion 25.04.2021, on a meadow in Germany, Saxony. The combination of very long stigma and dark fore tarsi shows that it belongs to Eristalis similis (female). |
