Hi from South Australia. we're currently seeing swarms of black Sepsidae sp. in our garden, usually congregating on foliage close to the ground. I spotted this single solitary orange fly (3 mm) on foliage 4-5 feet off the ground. It looks like a Sepsis Fly of some kind, but I'm having trouble finding an ID for it. Any thoughts, please? Best, Kari.
