Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Holmer Sandberge (near Wedel), sandy area with Calluna vulgaris, edge of mixed forest (with birch, pine, ash, maples), very near to a small pond at a leaf of Betula pubescens, 18th of September 2021, Outsidephotos: kuv (only this picture). I seem to remember Michael Ackland saying that here are about 30 species of Pegomya with orange abdomen like this. I suspect the best you will get is Pegomya sp. |
