This fly was sunbathing in the morning on my old shed today (Ansbach, close to Frankenhoehe Nature Park, old deciduous forest, 2021-11-07). I think it's a female Onesia/Bellardia but I'm not sure: - 0 prest, 3 post ia but the first is very small - orange hairs on lower occiput - white spot on parafacial - postpedicel long What's your opinion? eklans attached the following image: [47.3Kb] Edited by eklans on 07-11-2021 17:47 Greetings, Eric Kloeckner |

Bellardia is out of the question with this third antennal segment, but it looks totally OK for Onesia female. Theo |
