This year we lost Michael Ackland. I knew Michael as a kind and sympathetic person, always ready to help.
Recently Adrian Pont published (in Entomologist’s Monthly Magazine 157: 243–247) Ackland's obituary.
It also contains a full list of Ackland's publications (Anthomyiidae). Whoever wants pdf of this paper let me know.
