Hello everyone,

I identified this specimen as Cheilosia hercyniae.
It was collected on July 28, 2021 in the south of France : Béziers.
Size : 6mm

Is this the correct identification?

Check Cheilosia (Eucartosyrphus) ruffipes (= soror).
