I found this Pollenia odd. I want to make it pediculata. But is this justified at all?

Steve Kerr answered at inaturalist: P. pediculata (formerly P. pseudorudis) and P. rudis are quite similar. The only way to reliably distinguish them is to examine the underside of the wing: P. pediculata has a bundle of pale hairs at the junction of the humeral cross vein and vein Sc (Rognes 1991).
