Hi all!

This is acutely embarrasing - I can sex Drosophila without thinking (or a lens)... But what sex are these flies?

Are they both male, or is the right on male, and the left one female?

Thanks!

Both male - the curved tip of the aedeagus is just visible in both specimens.

The two are males.
Compare picture of a female of related species

Note small subconical cercus and, below it, flat bristled lamellae of oviscapt, arising from near the median line.
