Hello, I photographed this fly near Monte Cagno (AQ), Italy, 1800m a.s.l. on June 27th 2021. I think it is a Tabanidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos? Thank you in advance, Emanuele ESant attached the following image: [293.31Kb] Edited by ESant on 13-08-2021 17:01 |

Hi Emanuele, I think it could be a female Philipomyia aprica.
Greetings, Eric Kloeckner |
