Hi, today my new job as horsefly decoy was successfull: a new species of Hybomitra - this time "Veldtabel Dazen" suggests bimaculata var. bimaculata?
As the fly took a big swallow I could take several photos - unfortunately not from the underside...
Is a determination possibly with these images?
In my garden: Ansbach, DE-Franconia, Frankenhoehe Nature Park, old deciduous forest, 2021-07-12.

Thank you and best regards
