Found these two Midges making more Midges on the beach at Garth's Voe, Graven, Shetland. Looks like some species of Serromyia going by the Gallery etc... Anyone confirm or possibly take it further...

Can you tell if the female has a single claw on the hind leg, or two like the male has?

Best one I have which isn't very clear, but most photos I have the rear claw on that side is broken off. I think it's a single [?]
