Hello, Plenty of them fly in a kitchen in Provence (Southern France). Thanks to Paul's paper*, I get to Drosophila mercatorum on the base of the colors/spots of thorax and abdomen. But I'm not able to estimate the color of the costal vein so the doubt remains. H. Dumas : France : Sanary-sur-Mer : 83110 : 26/06/2021 Altitude : NR - Taille : 3.3 mm Réf. : 284898 H. The body coloration is relatively dark, 1st costal section darkened apically. It is D repleta. |
