Hoverfly for ID help please.

This small Hoverfly was in my garden this week .It has a narrow body and mostly rested with wings closed. It has markings like Eupeodes but seemed to slim .Can anyone help with the ID please.

It could easily be E. corollae - but with no details on locality it is hard to be sure.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
