I think this is an Eustalomyia female, although the general thoracical pattern looks a bit odd with not having a single fused central stripe. I am off? If so, this must be one of the festiva/histro pairs. As I see no obvious hariy arista, I think this must be histrio. Unfortunately on none of the photos are the av bristles on hind tibia visible to count. The inatualist thread: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/84512077 Does anyone have an opinion on this? Muscidae. Hairy eyes are rare in Anthomyiidae. |
