They are bite humans and annoying.

Simulium. About 10 subgenera have the base of vein R without hairs dorsally.

Is this the same genus? This fly was caught in the same place and same time.

The second fly is probably the same genus. I don't remember a picture here from Europe of any genus of Simuliidae other than Simulium. In North America we have some other common genera early in the year, with Simulium dominating late.
