this fly max. 1cm, was found on 28th of May in Lower Saxony.

Hi Alex, this is not a Phaonia but one of the Tachinidae. I think it could be Ocytata pallipes.

Of course someone can - if you edit the title of your thread like:
Tachinidae Ocytata pallipes? <= Phaeonia spec.
