Hi, From the stiff erected bristles on the abdomen I suppose this fly belongs to the family Tachinidae. Am I correct? What genus could it be? Hi FRV, I think it could be a Sarcophaga sp. (red eyes, tesselated abdomen...)

Thank you Eric, you are probably right. So I was mistaken, not the right family. This is a rather small specimen for the genus! |
