 Hello everyone
Is this indeed a male Pollenia sp ?
H?ron (Belgium) in my garden, september 12 2006
It looks like a silvery rather than golden Pollenia, but is it ?

 Certainly Pollenia - some individuals do look more silvery than golden, probably when they are freshly emerged
