Hi, yesterday I've found my first Bibio leucopterus in the garden on a daisy. Determined by the Verbeke-key (hopefully correct): 8-9 mm, wing-membrane heavily smoky - appear brownish to blackish; Veins also strongly pigmented... crossvein r-m slightly longer than basal radial vein R2-5. eklans attached the following image: [35.97Kb] Greetings, Eric Kloeckner |

Eyes naked, elongated oval, interocular area dull, not pilose.
