Good afternoon, Is this fly Phasia aurulans? Due to comparable size, I first suspected that this is Phasia obesa. But seemingly there are some, similar species. Date: May 19, 2021, clearing with sand-dry scrubbing in a pine forest near Mainz in Germany. Found together wit https://diptera.i..._id=100799. Thanks for the help. Hi Bembix, it could be P. aurulans, but I haven't seen enough of these to be sure. Usually the presutural area should be completely black...
