No, the darkened wing tips and the dark hind legs make this male X. dives (compare https://www.insek...x?id=66089). A good lateral view of the thorax showing the arrangement of yellow patches would confirm the ID (see https://www.resea..._Syrphidae p. 30), but I think we are safe with X. dives. Regards, Sundew |
