With the subalar spot confluent and the grey part of the scutellum confined to the tip, A. pluvialis can be ruled out. The length of the mid tibial setae appears to be quite short - so might this specimen be a male A. quinquemaculata? Unfortunately I only have this one photo. Taken in a park in Vienna, June 2020 Cheers, Lorin Font Color All requests are from the urban area of Vienna, if not otherwise stated. My Diptera observations (and other living forms) can be found here, and corrections or comments over there would also be appreciated. |
