Hello,

can this fly be identified?

Data: Germany, Lower Saxony, Rodenberg, 90 m, garden, feeding on Euphorbia cyparissias, 12 May 2021.

Best regards,
Tina.

Edit: photos from nr. 2 deleted, as Paul Beuk wished.

Is not even the family possible? Then please, which families do come into question?

Best regards,
Tina.

Hi Tina, it's family is Muscidae and I'm quite sure it's a male Coenosia testacea.

Greetings, Eric

Hello Tina,

you can put the 'cf.' before the testacea. There is no doubt about the genus Coenosia.
Best regards,
Jürgen
